This is an indicative list of what trees maybe in flower or bearing fruits throughout the year. It is not an exhaustive list, but an informative listing to encourage readers to explore further, and I suggest the Collins Book of British trees as a starting place.
The start of the fruit picking season, with berry fruits, strawberries, raspberries etc leading, then the cherries, and gooseberries.
All the other fruits, if having survived the May frosts, will be thriving well as well as the bramble (Blackberry) bushes.
The end of Elder flower too this month, for the elderberry wine/cordial drinkers.
The list of tree is the same as last month (May).
